| The Moalboal Backpacker Lodge is located in Moalboal (Panagsama Beach).
Moalboal is located around 90 km an 2 1/2 hours journey from south of Cebu City on the west coast of Cebu Island. Since the 1970s, Moalboal is a good developed tourism place based on dive shops, beach resorts, bars and restaurants.
Unfortunately, there is NO ATM in Moalboal.
Cash amount in local currency (PHP) is recommended.
Budget journey to us:
Taxi from Cebu International Airport to Southern Bus Terminal in Cebu City.
Roughly every hour start the Librando or Ceres Liner (via Barili) to Moalboal.
From Moalboal public market take a tricycle to us.
If you are coming by your own car to us, leave Cebu City following on the southern highway via Carcar and Bareli. In Moalboal (public market area) take a right turn at Julies Bakeshop to Panagsama (3.5 km straight ahead).

The most popular bars at the moment are Beach Bar and Chili Bar. There is Disco every Saturday at Pacitas.
Scuba diving
is the main activity, and it compares favorably with any spot in the
Philippines. The home reefs are fine and Pescador island, ranges from
fantastic drop off to colorful reef top. The structure of the whole
reef is ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving or to take scuba dive course.
Many dive shops here in Panagsama Beach just few meters away from the
Moalboal Backpacker Lodge. Come and enjoy here in Moalboal the great underwater world.
Within a distance of 30 km from Moalboal you can explore numerous waterfalls, caves and canyons
or just enjoy the White Beach and visit the Orchid farm and local public market
in town. |
